Under the Social Welfare Office, distributing books of poor and distressed, disabled, widow, adult maternal and tea-worker's allowances and poor tea workers were given Tk 5000. Vice President Freedom Fighter Alhaj Professor Md. Rafiqur Rahman Upazila Chairman, Special Guest Mr. Mahmudul Haque, Additional Chief Executive Officer and Social Service Officer was present as the chief guest. Mr. Md. Fazlul Haque (King), Chairman of his Union, also presided over the meeting. UP member and member of 9 wards of Union Parishad
